Biography:
Born in Pakrac, Republic of Croatia, on April 26, 1973. She enrolled at the School of Medicine in Belgrade in 1991 and graduated in July 1998 with an average grade of 9.39. Since September 2000, she has been employed at the University Children’s Hospital in Belgrade. She started her specialization in pediatrics in the academic year 1999/2000 and passed the specialist exam on May 27, 2004, with a grade of very good. As a pediatric specialist, she works in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and in the echocardiography laboratory.

She enrolled in master’s studies in cardiology in 1999. She passed the oral master’s exam on September 30, 2009, with a grade of 10, and defended her master’s thesis titled “Echocardiographic Assessment of Central Venous Pressure in Children” on July 9, 2010, at the School of Medicine in Belgrade.

She is a member of the Serbian Medical Society, the Serbian Society of Echocardiographers, and the European Society of Cardiology. She is the author and co-author of 12 published scientific papers. She speaks English with an international certificate (IELTS Academic level, Sydney Australia). Her professional development highlights include participation in the symposium “Echocardiographic Principles in Reconstructive Mitral Valve Surgery,” Cardiology Section of the Serbian Medical Society, Belgrade 2004; “Good Clinical Practice Course,” ARCP, Belgrade, December 2007; and “Cardiovascular Intensive Care in Neonates and Children,” Zurich, Switzerland, 2008.
